Share your character with the world and grow your audience.
Before you publish, decide who should be able to find your character. Dyva offers three visibility levels, and choosing the right one depends on where you are in the creation process:
A smart publishing workflow looks like this: build in private, test with unlisted, and go public when you're confident. You can change visibility at any time without losing any data — conversations, memories, and feedback are all preserved regardless of visibility changes.
The marketplace is where users discover new characters. It's organized by categories, trending characters, editor's picks, and search results. When your character is set to public, it automatically appears in the marketplace.
Your character's marketplace listing consists of its name, tagline, avatar, tags, and a preview of the greeting. This is your storefront — it needs to grab attention in a crowded space. Here's what makes a listing stand out:
Characters with higher engagement and better feedback tend to surface more prominently. The marketplace algorithm rewards quality and consistency — a character that retains users (they come back to chat multiple times) will rank higher than a character with lots of first-time visits but no return traffic.
Every public or unlisted character has a shareable link that you can post anywhere — social media, forums, Discord servers, blog posts, or messaging apps. When someone clicks the link, they're taken directly to your character's page where they can start chatting immediately.
For more advanced distribution, Dyva supports embedding. You can generate an embed code that places a chat widget directly on your website, blog, or landing page. This means users can interact with your character without ever leaving your site. Embedding is especially powerful for:
Embedded characters work the same as characters on the platform — they maintain memory, use voice (if enabled), and support personas. The only difference is the interface, which adapts to fit the embed container.
Publishing is just the beginning. Here's how the most successful creators on Dyva build and sustain an audience:
Building an audience takes time, but the formula is straightforward: make something genuinely good, put it where people can find it, and keep making it better. The creators who succeed aren't necessarily the most talented — they're the most persistent.
